(2)     When it is necessary to outsource the handling of personal data, in whole or in part, to external service providers for the achievement of the purposes outlined in “2. How We Use Your Information”.  Such external providers may include internet service providers, data hosting providers, etc.

(3)     When disclosure is required by law enforcement agencies such as courts, police, prosecutors, or tax authorities in accordance with legal procedures.

(4)     When personal data is provided due to the succession of ufotable’s business, such as through mergers or other reasons.

(5)     When otherwise permitted by the APPI and applicable laws.

We take reasonable and appropriate measures, including organizational, physical, human, and technological safeguards, to ensure the secure management of your personal information entrusted to us. We strive to prevent unauthorized access to personal data, as well as risks such as loss, alteration, and leakage of personal information, by ensuring proper handling in accordance with the APPI, and applicable laws and regulations.

In accordance with “4. Sharing Information with Third Party”, we may provide your personal data to third parties, which may involve transferring your personal data to countries and regions outside of Japan. In such cases, we will adhere to the standards required by applicable laws and regulations and take appropriate measures to protect your personal information during such transfers.

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary for the purpose outlined in “2. How We Use Your Information”, or for the period specified by APPI, and applicable laws and regulations. ■   Request suspension of use or provision, or deletion of your personal information, if handling your personal information by us could potentially infringes upon your rights or harm your legitimate interests.

 

(2)     Upon receiving such request from you, if we can confirm that request is from you (or your authorized representatives), we will guide you through the necessary procedures, including providing documents and methods of submission, in accordance with the APPI and applicable laws and regulations.
